How to Get Rid of Calluses Using Callex Ointment

Calluses form on the bottom of feet to protect delicate skin from the constant friction and pressure that feet endure on a daily basis. It is part of the body's natural defense mechanism. What are they? Calluses are nothing more than dead skin that has accumulated and hardened over the course of time. The most common areas where calluses are found on the feet are high-pressure areas such as the big toe, the ball of the foot and the heel.

Most of the time, calluses are our friend, but they can become unsightly and may even become painful if they are allowed to dry out and crack Callex ointment prevents heels from becoming dry and cracked. It also helps heal skin and soften calluses. In addition to using Callex ointment on your calluses, you can take the following steps to remove calluses:

  • Soak your feet in warm soapy water. Cleanse with an abrasive exfoliating foot scrub. This will soften the skin and make calluses easier to break down and remove. Clean the nails and nail cuticles with a nail brush.
  • File the affected areas with a metal file or pumice stone. Usually a combination of tools works best. A metal rasp can be used first followed by a pumice stone and finer files.
  • Moisturize your feet daily with Callex ointment. Callex ointment will keep your skin supple and soft which will prevent painful drying and cracking.

Nobody likes the appearance of calluses on their heels. For this reason, many women want to get rid of calluses when warm weather approaches in anticipation of wearing sandals. For treatment to be truly effective, however, you need to combat calluses all year long. Do not walk on your bare feet as this stimulates the formation of calluses. Make sure that you always cleanse, exfoliate and moisturize your feet so that they remain supple and free of calluses.
