Traction-Inversion Let's You Look at Exercise from a Whole
New Angle
Traction and Inversion goes hand-in-hand with Inversion Therapy,
a form of therapy that involves suspending the patient upside down
with the aid of an inversion table or similar device. The benefits
of inversion/traction therapy are most readily apparent in the spine
and back area. By harnessing gravity in this manner, pressure on
the spine, muscles and other portions of the back is reduced, thereby
relieving back pain and tension in the muscles. This in turn helps
to reduce stress, a common cause of muscle pain and tension. Additional
benefits of such treatment include strengthened muscles and improved
posture and circulation. Who knew gravity was so handy?
Home-Based Traction/Inversion Products
While they offer tangible benefits, home inversion machines can
be somewhat bulky and awkward to use, but that doesn't mean you
need altogether forego the benefits traction devices can offer.
The Lumbar Extender and other 'hill-shaped' traction products are
small, easily portable devices that serve as effective treatment
as well as excellent preventative remedies for sufferers of back
pain. They are also suitable for use by people of all ages. For
those among us looking for a less passive workout, inversion bars
and gravity boots offer full inversion (namely, hanging upside down)
and can be installed in most any doorway. Advantages include the
fact that they take up no floor space and are considerably cheaper
than inversion/traction machines.
We, of course, offer a full range of lower body health products
and you don't need to bend over backwards to find them. Just take
