Foot Wetness - You May Be All Wet, but That Doesn't Mean
Your Feet Should Be
Foot Wetness may sound harmless, after all, we come into contact
with water all the time and a little water never hurt anyone, right?
Well, the truth of the matter is that when combined with the confined
environment found within your shoes, wetness and moisture make for
a perfect atmosphere in which germs and bacteria can breed. These
in turn are the culprits responsible for the diseases, fungus and
other less than pleasant problems we find occurring on our feet.
Aside from the obvious contributing factors, wetness on the feet
can be caused by problems both physical and mental in nature. Anxiety,
for example, can cause you to sweat, while some people may simply
suffer from hyperhidrosis, a condition that results in greater-than-normal
sweating.
