Helping The Arches Of Your Feet With A Foot Insert

If you either have painful platforms to your feet, or are what is known as 'flat footed', then you should certainly try out a foot insert in your shoes.

What are feet inserts?

A foot insert goes inside your shoes and provides your foot with an arch that helps your foot to spread the weight of your body around, thereby acting as a support and cushioning your feet from the daily grind of walking around.

How do feet inserts help?

Feet inserts will help you maintain health and robust feet by not putting as much pressure on the sole's of your feet that they are currently experiencing. The pressure your feet are now experience is one of the factors why your feet always feel tired and sore. However, with a shoe insole helping and strengthening the sole's of your feet, this pressure is dramatically reduced.

Can orthotics be used in all my shoes?

Yes - but. In most shoes feet inserts can be inserted to help alleviate your feet. However, in certain types of shoes, for example some types of sandals and some raised platform shoes, a foot insert will not work to its maximum potential and may not be of that much extra value.

Also, keep in mind that each pair of shoes should really have its own foot insert, and that it is not ideal to use one foot insert in all your shoes.
