Detoxify Your Feet With A Cleansing Foot Bath

How many times have you arrived home and your feet have been aching something horrid? More than once I'll bet! Then think: how many hours a day are your feet covered up in shoes and socks? Scary thought isn't it? No wonder our feet sometimes feel tender and sore and you have ankle or heel pain. You can detoxify your feet with a cleansing foot bath to reduce the aching feeling in your feet though!

Using a foot bath to detoxify your feet

The most efficient method of detoxifying your feet using a feet bath is to add some sea salt into your foot bath and then let the sea salt dissolve. Once this has happened, you put your feet in the foot bath and enjoy the therapeutic remedy that your feet truly deserve.

Alternatively, or even at the same time, you can add other types of dissolvable granules to your foot bath that will help you to sooth away the pains of the day on your feet!

What kind of foot bath should I use?

It doesn't really matter- there is a wide range available, from the simple foot bathes, the ultra deluxe foot bath with massaging rollers and heated water! What is important, however, is that you give your feet the chance to relax and let the stress of the day pass out. Also, giving your feet the chance to detoxify themselves will help you maintain overall healthy feet.

How long should I have foot baths for?

Asking how long you should have a foot bath for is rather like asking how long a piece of string is - you need to take as long as you need in order for your feet to become truly relaxed. However, ideally you don't want to take so long that your feet become all wrinkled from the effects of the water. Also, it is not good to fall asleep with your feet in a foot bath - especially if your foot bath has any electrical appliance, such as a massaging appliance.
