Like our shoes some of these Men's Socks are just
plain uncomfortable
Gentlemen beware, don't fall into the bad men's socks
club. What? Ok I suppose that I need to go into a bit more detail
here. Just like our shoes, socks for men fall into a number of categories,
but for the most part they can be distinguished by those that are
comfortable and those that just are not.
For those mens socks that are comfortable, unfortunately the great
majority just are not fashionable. And of course the converse is
true. The more fashionable our socks are gents, the more uncomfortable
they tend to be. This is a great dilemma because unless we are seated,
our socks do not show, and like our boxers (or briefs for some),
men's socks are supposed to be comfortable.
But just like the pinstripes and sneakers dilemma we encounter,
we can not exactly replace all of our patterned dress socks with
plain old white ankle gym socks. Although to walk around the office
in a pair of white knee-highs, you know, the ones we used to have
in the 80's with the blue and green stripes on the tops,
instead of our uncomfortable dress socks and shoes might just enhance
productivity.
So if you want to go to your boss with what I believe is a brilliant
alternative to a gentlemen's dress sock discomfort dilemma,
go ahead, if not, listen up. Ok, so we all agree that our dress
socks are not the most comfortable things ever created. Sometimes
less is more and we should look for the sheerest material possible.
Avoid the heavy wool socks with dress shoes. Look for the think
comfortable pair instead. But above all, make sure that the dress
socks you wear fit the shoes. Don't try to cram your feet into
a pair of shoes with a pair of dress socks that are too big. Take
care of your feet with good dress socks gentlemen and your feet
will continue to take care of you.
