Will your Kids Feet outgrow those new shoes? Keeping kids'
feet covered is not enough!
Kids' feet, just like the rest of them grow like weeds. You
cannot stop it, so just go with the flow. But your kids' feet
need special attention, a little more care, and most importantly
protection. How do you protect feet, especially kids' feet
with all of their running, jumping, and overall craziness?
Well no one is here to tell you that your kids' feet are going
to be easy to protect and secure, we are just here to tell you that
you must. But why? Remember that the feet are one of the most important
parts of the human body. That without them life would be quite difficult
to negotiate. Bear in mind that the feet allow us to do most of
what we do in our daily lives. They allow us to be active, to go
from place to place. Feet let us walk, they let us run. At the very
basic, feet let us stand.
And kids' feet are even more important than our adult feet.
As adults our feet are fully developed and major injuries will not,
for the most part impede any further development. But our kids'
feet are sensitive, they are in the developmental phase and injuries
to our kids' feet should be avoided.
So how do we protect our kids' feet?
Begin with making sure that your kids wear shoes when they run
around. The days of going barefoot have gone out of style and now
it is the vogue to wear shoes. Maybe it has something to do with
the knowledge we now have of dangerous foot conditions. Regardless,
our kids' feet must be covered. Not only will shoes protect
our kids' feet from splinters and dirt, but they will also
help to keep potentially damaging bacteria from attaching itself.
In addition, when our kids drop something, a shoe offers just enough
protection to avoid a cut and often times a bruise.
But keeping kids' feet covered is not enough. The shoes that
they wear need to fit correctly. Do not throw caution to the wind
when it comes to your kids' feet, go to the shoe store and
make sure that the shoes that they wear fit them well.
